Generate error messages

Is there a way to get Wýndows to generate an error message wýthout the error
actually occurrýng? I need to copy the text of an error message--any error
message will do but preferably a longish one.

Just wait a little while, an error message will come up. Or, if you are in a hurry,
look in the Event Viewer.
