Gamepad (joystick) adjustments through XP - possible?

I need to lower the sensitivity of my gamepad (USB), and wonder if there is
anyway to do this. My disc drivers, game menus, and XP have no visible
options for this.

THX. Yes, I tried everything available through the XP control panel. There
are no sensitivity options. Any third party software available?

Just wondering, does that mean your XP didn't have an icon in control
panel named Gaming Options? I'm asking because I'm a W2000 user and just
assumed it would.

Have you looked through the files for and exe in your gamepads install
folder? My printer has some utilities that can only be accessed this way
so I'm thinking your pad may also.

Your best bet might be to contact the company that makes the pad though.
