Hello people,
I reformatted my hard drive to fresh install Windows XP. I boot up to the
WinXP CD and it goes through the copying files segment, but when the status
says it's starting up the Windows setup, I keep getting the blue screen error.

It's the stop error called UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
and I got the codes:
0x000000ED (0x8234FB50, 0xC0000010, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I tried looking up the error on the MS website and also on the web, but I
can't do any of those solutions. Everytime I boot up to the CD, it gets to
the blue screen error before it gets to the first screen, so I can't go into
any repair mode or anything.

Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!

Normally one "Boots To,the XP cd",this needs to be configured in the BIOS
(hardware device priority,or similiar),then boot to xp cd,select install
xp,new
copy, delete the partition, create one, then let xp formatt and install
auto.Right
now the computer is trying to boot to C: drive, but w/o a OS,it gives
invalid drive.
