I am trying to run a game on XP home 256 meg ram but each
time I try to run it in a dos window I get an error
message "I am trying to run POP2 but keep getting the
message "program to big to fit in memory"
Any suggestions??

Steve,
I am getting the same problem...i try to start an
application and a dos box flashes on with "program too big
to fit in memory"..obviously the app does not start.
I started with a problem with the 16 bit sub system and
tried to use the correction found in the knowledge base
but now get this problem...I will be monitoring to see
what sort of answers you get...

Hi Greg,
I got a reply in the general newsgroup to the same
question. Edit the pif file to change XMS EMS memory
allocation.
Cheers
