All,

Does anyone of any decent free virus scanners that will run on a Windows 2000 SERVER?

I think AntiVir will - I know AVG free isn't supposed to run on them.

Edit: On second thoughts, I'm not sure you can get more than a 30 day trial for any Win2000/2003 server OS AntiVirus that I know of.

Are you looking for file system or email...?

GFI do a freeware SMTP/Exchange AV but that's just email Im afraid mate :(
 
it's just for a file server shorty.

got bitdefender working but the free version won't do real time only does scans.

is bitdefender just kaspersky av is disguise???

Might hang on and buy some software, defo want it when i get my mail server sorted.

Just had some problems this week with trojans, driving me mad. seem to have got more or less sorted now.
