i think i am getting closer to my dwt problems. here is
what i have noticed... if u have any ideas that would be
great.

whenever i save a .php page to an .htm page my php code
seems to be getting erased. And whenever i try to save
an .htm page with php code in it to a .php page my dwt
disappears when published, even though it looks fine in
preview mode. Heres the weird thing......whenever i used
to save any page as a .php i could never "preview" or go
to "design" mode with that page. It would be just the
file opened and all there would be is the code. For some
reason now i can preview it as a .php page. Does this
mean frontpage is not set up correctly to deal with php?
THIS PAGE USED TO WORK so i know i messed something up.

P.S. Also, i checked internet options and frontpage is my
default editor for html pages.

any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Are you using ASP type tags in your PHP pages
See http://www.totalpconline.com/phprocketaddin/index.php?page=faq.html
You may also want to download their PHP Rocket Addin

Also check if FP is set to open .php in Tools Options Configure editors
