Navigation Bars and PHP

I have some dynamic data feeds I am trying to use, I have no problem editing
the PHP pages within Frontpage 2003. The problem is when I upload the .php
pages to my site, the navigation bars on the .php pages do not show up as
they would on a .htm page. Is there a workaround for this?
