folder permanently minimized

hi

this has happened with my utorrent client, internet explorer (found
solutions to all of those!), but now i have a folder that i keep on my
desktop (not a shortcut) and when i d/click it, it jumps minimized to the
taskbar and will not maximize.

ive tried right clicking/restore/maximize, AND i can access the files in the
folder through righ clicking the start button and using explorer, but this
behaviour seems weird - given that its happened to other apps and i.e.

What about F11 when the App is open!.

Move the folder somewhere else.

Create a shortcut to that folder on your Desktop.

If the shortcut does not open the folder in a Normal or Maximized window,
try this.

Right click the shortcut | Properties |
On the Shortcut tab | Under Run | Set it to
Normal window or Maximized | Click OK

Run:
[[Specifies how you want the window to display this item when you open the
shortcut: in a standard window, in a full screen (maximized), or as a button
on the taskbar (minimized). ]]
