When I reboot, the folder, "Documents" opens. How do I stop that from happening?

Hi

Is it a folder you created or one that was created when you installed a program? You can have a look in msconfig>startup to see if it referenced there.

Thanks for the info, however it's not the folder "My Documents" it's an empty folder called "Documents" I tried the fix but the empty folder still opens

Steve...if your comfortable using regedit....look in this key and see if
there is a null value, it will look like 2 quotation marks "". Delete that
key if its there and reboot. This is where items are set to start on
startup.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

The folder that keeps on opening was empty and I deleted it and cleaned the registry and all is working fine. Thanks for all the help
