Problem with system startup folder

Hello, I have a problem with my system startup folder. I accidentally
dragged the folder

c:\documents and settings\myuserid\start menu\programs\startup onto
c:\documents and settings\All Users\start menu\programs\startup.

As a result, all programs in c:\documents and settings\All Users\start
menu\programs\startup now open twice at startup.
I tried creating a new startup folder under c:\documents and
settings\myuserid\start menu\programs\ but this doesn't work as a system
startup folder.

Anyone has any idea on how to fix the problem?

Many thanks

Just do a System Restore to before you did this. It will be the easiest
way.

Malke, thanks for your answer.
This problem actually occurred a few weeks ago so now it's too late to do
that... any other idea?

Why not just delete the the folder you made and drag the one you moved
back to where it belongs? Otherwise, I'm sorry but I don't know.
Hopefully someone else will come along with the answer for you.

1st make a copy of the 2 startup folders in a safe location.
then make sure the following "default" folder structure exists.
c:\documents and settings\myuserid\start menu\programs\startup
c:\documents and settings\All Users\start menu\programs\startup

Go through the backed up shorcuts and delete any duplicates and decide
which programs you want to load only for your account and which need to load
for all accounts
and move them into the appropriate folders.
