folder icons suddenly changed appearance

Hi.

A few days ago while I was surfing the net all my folder
icons suddenly became joystick icons.

I thought rebooting my laptop would get rid of this
glitch, but it did not.

How do I change my icons back?

Control Panel|Display|Appearance|Advanced and try changing the icon size by
one, apply changes, then go back in and change the size back. This should
cause the operating system to rebuild the shelliconcache file which may be
in a corrupted state.
