Firewall troubles (i think)

I am wondering the same as mucks,

Did ZA ask you to grant access to I.E or FF (Dependent to what you have?)

P.S Zone Alarm 6.xxxxxxxx has some issues still to be sorted.... It f***ed me internet when i updated it......

okay i managed to sort it all out. what i did in the first place is that i went into msconfig on run and disabled System.ini, Process Win.ini and load startup items. Then i disabled everything that either wasnt to do with microsoft or started running when i booted up.
basically what i did was to try and majorly improve start up times, and the difference was HUGE, i never seen my ol' pc startup so quick :). however thats when the problem started with msn and steam, so in the end i gave up fast booting speeds and went back to what it was before.

thanks for all your suggestions anyway :D
