firewall-do I have one?

I recently uploaded a web page & can't access the admin area.
Host asks if I have a fire wall installed. I don't think so but how do I find out?

What version of windows do you have?
windows xp has a firewall in it.

All other windows don't, but i dont know iff you installed
a firewall by youreself....
