Files & Settings Transfer Wizard

Patrick

I have managed to use this wizard to save settings onto a network drive and
then restore using the saved data.

However, I would like to set up a stand alone PC with no network card.

My questions are:
1) Is it possible to use USB file transfer cable (as opposed to Direct
Parallel Cable, with a much slower bit rate)
2) I want to transfer settings from a Windows98 Version 2 PC to a WinXP
ProSP2 PC (temporarily), and then rebuild the Win98 PC with WinXP and then
transfer the settings back to this PC. What do I do on the first WinXP Pro
PC (is this the "new" computer or the "old" computer, noting that PC's sole
purpose is to keep the settings whilst the Win98 PC is rebuilt to WinXP.

Many Thanks!

Can anyone tell me exactly what this wizard actually saves? Is it My
documents?

Cheers.

You can add Settings, Folders, Files and File Types, so basically you can
have it save anything you want it to.
