using Files and Setting Transfer Wizard

I have two PCs on the network. One had Win2000 and the new one WinXP pro. I
tried to use the Files and Settings Wizard. I go to the new PC with xp on it,
run the wizard and make the fastwizard floppy. I go to the old PC to run
fastwizard off the floppy. It runs and copies files from the floppy but then
I get an error, and the process won't continue. I have tried different
floppies and running off the XP CD. But still get to the same point.
Any ideas?
