Hello,

I began having problems with media player and it would no
longer work. I tried to download it again off the net,
and I couldn't even complete the installation without it
quitting in error everytime.

I posted to the media player newsgroup and someone
responded and said the problem is likely with Internet
Explorer.

I have version 6.0 installed. The message I keep getting
on the screen is this:

The REALSCHED.EXE file is linked to missing export
ADVAP132.DLL:SetEntriesInAcIA.

In the control panel, Internet Explorer does not appear on
the add/remove list. I have tried to download it again,
but again, Internet Explorer will not successful complete
installation.

If you have any ideas what this Error Starting Program
message is about and how I can fix it, I would appreciate
your advice very much.

Thanks,

Ryan

The file is advapi32.dll not ADVAP132.DLL.
You have a wrong version.

Check your version against this database, and find out which one you need.

If you have to extract a copy from your CD. use SFC.EXE.
