File Download problem

Hi
I have a vb application undergoes constant changes. The
app is located on a network drive and client XP machines
run it from there. When users open it they receive a "File
Download" dialog. "Some files can harm your computer. If
the file information below looks suspicious, or you do not
fully trust the source, do not open or save this file."
Then it gives some details. The user then has to click the
the open button to get into the app.
does anyone know how to register this program so that this
dialog doesn't appear.

Hi Stuart,

I'm having the same problem with one XP machine as well. I have others that
do NOT do this and I haven't figured out why they are different.

One thing you can do is add the network share (IP address) as a Trusted
site. I had to do this to the one PC that wasn't working although the other
XP machines did not need this so I still don't know why it is happening on
some PCs and not others. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
