I have the basic microsoft fax installed on my XP system (though I don't
think the OS matters much). When I set up the calling card sequence, no
matter what I've tried, the fax starts by dialing the receiving fax number
instead of the calling card access number and the rest of the calling card
sequence. I finally resorted to using my phone to dial all of the calling
card numbers, and having all of the steps done for sending the fax except for
dialing the recipients number. That finally worked. But it is workaround,
and I'd like to know how to configure everything right so that it works
correctly the first time. Any help?
