Faxing does not receive SOME faxes

I have a MS Fax installed on a MS 2000 computer. I can send faxes just fine
and receive faxes for the most part. However, some faxes are not received.
This happens with about 20 - 30% of faxes. I can see the attempts in the fax
queue. It is quite odd.


I would also like to know if there is any way to tell from what telephone #
a non-received fax in the fax queue is. That way, I can request that a
person resend a non-received fax.

Is there a message in the event log? That might have details. I think
Windows 2000 doesn't have Activity Logging feature that's present in Windows
XP & Windows Server 2003. That would've been of some help otherwise.
