Fax Monitoring Not Appearing

Hello,

I have a LapTop DELL C600 with a FaxModem "Card 3Com 56K V.90 Mini
PCI".

When I receive Faxes, I have The Fax Monitor appearing as a PopUP and
giving me all details about The Connection and an icon on the TaskBar
says me "You have received a New Fax"
It's really great.

BUT, My Problem is

That I added an external modem "Sportster Voice 33.6 PnP" via The
Serial Port. Everything is OK. I receive my Faxes but The Fax Monitor
is unable to see it. So, I don't receive any information about the
fact that a fax is arrived. I have to check on the directory "Received
Faxes" to see indeed that faxes are waiting there.
With the internal modem, I have no problem.

Do I have to activate an option ?
Is Fax Monitor unable to work with External Modem ?
What do I have to do to do it work ?

What is the OS you are using? If it's Win2003 Server, you can change the
device to be tracked via the Status Monitor. If it's Win2K Server, you need
to change the priority of the device via the Fax Management Console.
