Fax in XP does not work on my computer

When I try to send a fax & the fax wizard appears & I click on next I get the
following error message - "Cannot find the server."

I also get this message: "An attempt to connect to fax printer failed.
Check the fax printer connection and try again."

In my fax properties box-there is a shared printer. But the following
message also shows up: "Microsoft Shared fax print driver is not installed
on this computer. Some printer properties will not be accessible unless you
install the print driver."

How can I removed the "shared printer" in the properties box so that the XP
fax will work.

Verify you have an analog fax modem installed that is on the Windows XP HCL
list.
State how you installed Windows XP Fax and any error messages you received
along the way.

Problem fixed. When I had previously uninstalled and reinstalled fax, I did
not configure it with the disk in the drive. SO I unstalled and reinstalled
fax & configured it. Have not tried to send a yet, but hopefully it will
work.
