Favorites Pane

I use XP Home, IE6. I mistakenly used the Favorites icon and opened a
Favorites pane at the left side of my screen. I can close it manually but
every time I start IE it is there again. What can I do so the Favorites pane
does not open when I start IE6?

Hi Ace,

When you have only one instance of IE running, click the favorites button to
hide the Favorites pane, then close IE.

The next time you start IE it should not have the Favorites pane. IE
'remembers' its size and layout at the time the last instance is closed.
