Favorite folder won't open

When I add a web site to my, "Favorites", folder while using IE, some folders
open, showing what I've placed there and some folders do not open. When I
right-click on the folder, it shows the sites are there, but the folder
itself won't open. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Ron,

I can't get a reply from the 'I.E.' newsgroup, do you or anyone else have
any suggestions? Thanks again.

Since no one answered, I suspect that the question has not been raised
previously. When that occurs, an answer is often hard to come by :-(

I tried to replicate what you say is happening and I cannot. What version
of IE are you using? If IE6, could you list step by step what you are doing
so I can try to set up the problem here?

Thank you Ron, I appreciate your help. I am using IE6. Prior to my
reformatting my computer, the 'Favorite' windows worked fine. Now, I go to
Favorites, open Organize and click on 'Create Folder' and type in a name for
the folder. I then click, Okay. I open 'Organize' again, click on one of my
Favorites and click on 'move to folder', which it does. I then add the rest
of my favorite web sites and close.

Later, when I click on the Favorites Folder, some will open and others
won't. On the folders that do not open, if I right-click on the folder, I
can see the sites are there, but the folder will not open. I delete the
folder and relocate my favorite web sites.

I can live with this, but it's kind of a pain, having to find and save my
web sites all over. I have thought of downloading IE7, but have heard there
are problems with the new version. Again, I appreciate your time and concern
on this.

Grant,

I cannot replicate it here so I guess I can't help. I have download IE7
three times (twice for the same computer) and it generated error messages
when I tried to use it. I have it hidden in updates.
