Favorite's Window Won't Open

When I add a web site to my, "Favorites", folder while using IE, some folders
open, showing the web sites I've placed there and some folders do not open.
When I right-click on the folder that won't open, it shows the sites are
there, but the folder itself won't open. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Optimize the IE by deleting Cookies, History & Temp Internet files from
INTERNET OPTIONS.

if fails then try going to RUN -> type SFC /SCANNOW

and hit OK. Once the scan completes reboot the computer & try to access your
favs.

What happens when you navigate to your Favorites folder via My Computer or
Windows Explorer? C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Favorites
