Hello to all of you. I've noticed a strange behaviour on PCs running Windows
XP SP2 after installing Pinnacle Studio 10 (video editing program). In a few
words, it becomes impossible listening to audio files in streaming on
Explorer 7.0 and uploading images to any kind of location. I tried to
uninstall Pinnacle Studio 10 and recover to many former system configurations
without solving these problem. Pinnacle ignored my request for help... This
issue has been noticed on many other PCs.
Any kind of help that could prevent me from reinstalling Windows XP would be
greately appreciated!

Oddly enough, no one but YOU has ever posted about this problem in the
XP.general newsgroup.

Where do you get "many other PCs" info?

After uninstalling any Studio product, it is vital that you run their
registry cleaner, to hoover out the last remnants. It is available under
the support section of pinnacle's web site

www.pinnaclesys.com

The Studio range of video editors are good value for the money, but Pinnacle
often seem to understate the minimum specification of PC on which they can
run (Some believe that the spec refers to a PC with nothing else on them).
Also, Studio products seem to suffer from all manner of bugs which can make
life difficult.

Studio 10 has now been replaced with Studio 11, but if you can't run the
former properly, you certainly won't get Studio 11 to run.

The pinnacle Studio product help forum is full of this and many other
problems. Whatever problem you have, there are many people who have already
discovered it.
