Fast User Switching Hangs up on only one user

My wife & I share a computer and use Winows XP Fast User Switching. It
was worked well for years. Lately it has stopped working from her user
id, but work just fine from mine. The only way I can get out of hers
it so click Start, Logoff, and then logoff. If I click on Switch User
instead of Logoff, nothing ever happens. Help. Please

Hi George,
First try creating a new user account and test the problem in there. If it
works fine then try to copy the old profile to the new one. Here is a

If this does not help try troubleshooting the problem by disabling all
non-Microsoft programs. Take a look at the article below:
