Windows XP: Fast user switching - How to force a logoff of accounts?

Q

QH

I have a shared PC running Windows XP Professional XP2, and it has
fast user switching enabled. I need to retain this, as sometimes I
leave it running tasks, but other people need to log on to it too.
However, some people forget to log off when they dont need to stay
logged in. Obviously this takes up resources and slows the machine
down. Can I force a logoff of other accounts running simultaneously as
mine?

Hi QH,

You can do this in Task Manager. Just select the "Users" tab, highlight the
User you want to log off and ....well, you'll see what to do.

To start Task Manager, press Cont+Alt+Del, or right-click the Taskbar.
