far cry loading issues

The game far cry I bought it and couldn't seem to load the stupid thing in my cd rom drive error messages kept coming up saying it wasn't reading the disc. What I found out is that it has to be ran and played in your dvd drive!!!!!!!!

Well? Is it running now? Do you have a DVD drive? Read label before purchase.

Hi Brian Smithers,

According to Ubisoft's System Requirements page, it can be ran on a CDROM
drive, provided it is at least a 16x drive:
