Hi, I managed to do something to my fan last night whilst installing an internal DVD player. The fan seems to be in 2 pieces now and despite trying every way to fix the 2 pieces together I can't seem to do it. Please see attached photos. I assume they go together!! Which is the top bit? The one with the label or the one without.

Can you take a picture of the whole case looking down please, as the fan that is still fixed in place looks like the heatsink and fan for your processor, not sure where the other fan has come from, although with the wires looking like they are bundled together it could have sat on top of it.

As MadX says you will need another fan anyway, as its busted.

What system info do you need and is it easy to replace the fan. I am going to a Computer Fayre on sunday so I could get a new one there. Any recommendations and also what sort of fan is it?
