fails to update

i have installed the antispyware but everytime i try to
update my computer says i am not online when i am, i have
norton installed and windows xp, can anyone suggest a
solution maybe?

Chech whether Outlook Express and Internett Explorer are connected on-line,
not off-line.

It is not logical but make sure Internet Explorer is connected and
Online when you select File, Update in Microsoft Anti-Spyware.
