Explorer Password Protection

Is it possible to block Internet Explorer 6 from being able to launch, by
blocking it with a password? What I want to do is, let my son have access to
the computer for his homework and software that I installed, but if he wants
to get online, then if he tries to start IE, then it needs a password. I am
running Windows XP Home Edition, with plenty of memory and hard drive space.

Do I need and extra software program to do this, or do I need XP PRO, or can
this not happen.

All help on this would be very grateful.

You can password protect IE - and all internet access - by using a
