superior password

I'm writing on behalf of a fellow AOL user who is having
such problems that he can't ask himself. I have him on
the phone. Whenever he tries to go to ANY website, he
gets the following pop-up box:

=================================
sorry content advisor will not allow you to see this
site. this page may contain some of the following: (this
page does not have a rating) If you want to see this
site, someone must type in the superior password.
Always allow website to be viewed.
Hint: Pet. Password: ______
=============================

The pages he's trying to go to are not adult content. He
can't get to anything as simple as www.yahoo.com or
www.ebay.com. He's a forty year old male who would never
have wanted an adult-protection password. He tried going
to Tools/Internet Options/Content/Content Advisor/Enable
to reset it, but without whatever password it wants, he
can't make an impact.

He thinks maybe some virus is responsible.

Will he have to reload the whole XP system to get rid of
this? That seems such a horrible shame to lose everything
on his c: drive.

Note, the article states that you will not be charged if it is just a
