A friend has his Windows Explorer set to Remember his user name and
Password. He did it incorrect and now each time he types in the
cosrrect user name and password, and tries to log on, it comes up to
the old incorect ones. Now after 3 tries, it says to wait and try
again. How do we go in and tell Windows Explorer to not remember
the incorrect data.. Thanks for a reply

Do you mean Internet Explorer (IE)? I sure hope that is what you
mean.

You can set up IE to remember names and passwords on WWW sites -
Tools, Internet Options, Content, Autocomplete.

If you think the information IE is remembering is wrong you can delete
what it is trying to use - Tools, General, Delete, Form Data/
Passwords. Probably both.

If you delete everything from IE from the general tab, the worst that
can happen is you will have to enter all the stuff in again for each
site until IE remembers it all again. Inconvenient for a while, but
it will catch up.

If you are trying to get to a site and you think you are for sure
entering the right info but still can't get in, you probably
registered on the site before and they should have a link to click if
you forgot your login information. They will send an email to the
address you used to register to tell you the information or how to
reset it.

It is not IE telling you to wait, it is the web site telling you to
wait.
