Password

My system will no longer remember my log in name and passwords. It asks and
allows me to check the box " remember Password" but when I go to sign in is
not there. I had a friend tune it up to work faster did we stop something
from running in taskmaster any ideas tks
 
Donald, does WinXP continue to boot up though you no longer have to sign
in?
