explorer keeps closing and reopening

Hi,
This is a follow up from an earlier post. I have a Mesh computer (XP Pro)
that keeps restarting explorer.exe every 2 seconds. It also does this in
safe mode but it seems to restart every second in that mode. On the start up
screen when there are a list of user accounts to choose from it is stable.
All accounts cause the same problem. One account (guest) shows me an error
message but all the other accounts do exactly the same but without the
message. The message is a Windows - Drive Not Ready - Exception processing
message c00000a3 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c with Cancel, Trya
again and Continue the options. If I click on continue the screen appears
and then shuts down 2 seconds later and then keeps doing that.

I have tried stopping everything in MSCONFIG. I have checked for spyware and
virus - Nothing. I have also disabled all entrys that were not MS in Shell
Extension Viewer.

If I get a program running it stays running even though the rest of the
icons and start bar keep disapearing in the background. The background image
(desktop) stays on though.

I am a bit stuck now so any thoughts are greatfully recieved.

P.S. There are no System Restore points available before this problem
started which is a little weird because System Restore isn't and hasn't been
turned off.

In your previous thread

you suspected a graphics driver was the cause of this long-running
(apparently) problem.

Did you replace your graphics card or install updated drivers for the
original card?

Have you contacted Mesh Tech Support about this?

Hi PA Bear,
That isn't the thread I am talking about but another different Mesh
computer. Just as a matter of interest that computer was out of warranty and
Kim get it right with her answer. It was the graphics card and is now
sorted.

This is a problem with another Mesh but after some more thought I am
thinking that F-Secure might be the problem and will be deleting it asap.
