Explorer.exe application error

i keep getting an explorer.exe error which states the
instruction at xxxxxx/xxx referenced at xxxxxxx/xxxx the
memory could not be written whenever i try to open a
folder containing any type of picture file ie jpeg bmp
etc it doesnt matter what type it just crashes can
anybody help me with this problem if so email me at

I know it sounds strange, but try defragging. I have seen it solve similar
problems!
