Explorer.exe Application Error

Scott

OS is Windows XP Pro w/Service Pack 1. I keep recieving
the following error:
Explorer.exe Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f580db" referenced memory
at "0x00000066". The memory could not be "written".

At the time of the error, explorer closes along with the
Start Bar, Quick Launch Bar, & the System Tray. Sometimes
explorer is able to recover, sometimes the system
restarts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Start/run "sfc /scannow" and allow it to check the system file integrity.
You may need your WinXP CD or to know where on your system the I386 folder
is located.
