Explorer.EXE - Application Error...

(1) When I try to start control panel I get the following error:

Explorer.EXE - Application Error
The Instruction 0x03823156 referenced memory at 0x033133c8. The memory could
not be "read".

(2) When I hit enter on "close" and get the following error:

Explorer.EXE - Application Error
The Instruction 0x038703a7 referenced memory at 0x03311a30. The memory could
not be "read".

(3) When I hit enter on "close" and get the following error:

Explorer.EXE - Application Error
The Instruction 0x038703a7 referenced memory at 0x03311a30. The memory could
not be "read".

(4) When I hit enter on "close" and get the following error:

Explorer.EXE - Application Error
The Instruction 0x038703a7 referenced memory at 0x03311a30. The memory could
not be "read".

(5) When I hit enter on "close" and get the following error:

Runtime error 216 at 0x038703a7.

(6) When I hit enter Control Panel windows closes.

Please HELP!!!

This is a Toshiba Laptop with XP Home SP2 preloaded.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW
