explorer.exe application error, memory cannot be written

Hello, when I startup my computer there is a message that comes up:

"Connections Tray: Explorer.EXE - Application Error

The instruction at "0x77d4e840" referenced memory at "0x77d4e840". The memory could not be written."

This message does not disappear when I click OK, or Cancel. I also cannot access the rest of my pc. I would deeply appreciate help.
