Explore doesn't show links

Examples:

On yahoo main page - there is typically a line of links beneath the main yahoo banner at the top of the page. I only see dashes and commas...

At www.apple.com/trailers - there are no images displayed beneath the "now playing" image

At google.com - after a search there is no hyper linked text in the Sponsored links on the right side of the page...

I have XP Home, explorer 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

I've verified the security setting are set to medium default, and I've double checked all the advanced options comparing them to another computer that displays/behaves correctly.

I have Norton system works 2003 installed and Norton antispam 2003 but no personal firewall or internet security software.


Generally I think these are ads - but sometime, especially at google I find useful. It also bugs me that this changed and I don't know why.

Temporarily disable Norton Anti-spam and see if it fixes your problem.

Then temporally disable Norton anti-virus, and see if this helps get the
buttons back.

YES! Northon Anti-spam was it! I didn't realize that norton anti-span was also blocking ads and popups - I only turned off ad blocking....
