Excel workbook

I recently created and worked with a new workbook that I created. I used and
added to the workbook many times. Then the other day I tried to open it and
got the following message:

'Photographer.xls' cannot be accessed. The file may be read-only, or you may
be trying to access a read-only location.Or, the server the document is
stored on may not be responding.

I checked the properties on the document and the are marked archive just
like the other documents on the same disk that still work. How do I access
this document, or am I just out of luck and start over. It's 101kb, so it
would take alot to redo. HELP

Hi,

It sounds like you may have a corrupt file, try Googling "recovering data
from excel file" and take a look at some of your options.
