excel 97 compatibility with Windows XP

I have windows XP Home version. I have a few applications
created in Excel 97 that I need Excel for. Otherwise, I
have little use for the MS Office. I have the Excel 97
program from an old computer that I am no longer using.
Will Excel 97 work with Windows XP?

Excel 97 will work on XP. Heck, I had Office 95 running on an XP box... <g>

Wot, even Outlook? I had trouble getting that to work right on Win95.
