Excel 2003 SP1 Crashes

Tony

Since downloading SP1 my Excel 2003 crashes 4-5 times per
day. The cursor freezes and I have to cut power to the
computer to get out of it, damaging other files. Any
hints?

Hi Tony,

Wild guesses...

1) Delete all files in your temp directory (see
http://www.decisionmodels.com/optspeedd.htm)

2) When Excel is closed, find you toolbar file (search for *.xlb) and delete
it. When you restart Excel, you will recreate a new toolbar file
automatically.

Let us know if this helps.

Best regards,
Kevin

Sorry . . . no help here. Since I installed SP1 I've been
having an average of 8 Excel crashes a day due to an error
in vbe6.dll. Is there a connection with SP1?? I dunno for
sure.
