Error!

I tried and got the following error.
Server Error: Unable to create a disk-based web
@ "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\folder because it's parent web would
not be a disk based web. Create a disk based web
elsewhere, outside of your web server's document
hierarchy. Judging by this error, it looks like I need to
copy the folder to the wwwroot and then attempt to convert
that folder to a web.

Thank you for any assistance.

IIS is apparently installed on your PC. Therefore, either
create your Web at

http://localhost/folder

or

C:\Documents and Settings\molinar\My Documents\
My Webs\folder

Unless you are running Windows 2000 or 2003 Server, you can only have a
single root web located at C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ so you would generally create
subweb under the root web by first opening the web directly in FP via
http://localhost or http://machinename or http://127.0.0.1, then create a
folder, then select the folder, right click and select convert to web.
