error when trying to install i-tunes

i get the following error message when i try to install latest version
of i-tunes:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\.cdda\OpenWithProgIds.

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or conatact your
support personnel

I have no idea what this means. any ideas?
