iTunes Registry Problem

Bill

Hi,

I'm getting the following error when installing the latest iTunes download:
"Error 1402. Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\.cdda\OpenWithProgids. Verify that
you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."

I don't know enough about the registry to override or fix this issue.
I'm the only user of this computer so I'm the admin also.

Can any one please help?

Thanks,

Apple issue. In other words? I haven't a clue. I avoid QT and iTunes like
the plague for just the reasons you're seeing and because I like to retain
control over my PC.
