Error on reinstall of Itunes

I had to reinstall my XP OS due to corrupt registry files. I have
successfully reinstalled everything, except for ITunes. It gets most of the
way through the install and then I get an error around
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\.cdda\openwithprogids" it asks me to
check for proper privleges (or somehting similar), then I get Error: - 1603
Fatal error during installation. Can someone help me figure this out?? I
had ITunes before, so I should be able to get it again. I've tried
installing off the original disk I got with my Ipod and I've tried installing
the download from Apple.

Go to:

for itunes forums and help. But just in case, are you installing from an
account with administrator privileges? You probably should be.

Both accounts on this computer have adminstrator privileges. I will check
out the apple discussions site, but came here because the error seemed to be
orignating from Windows. Thanks for your help.
