Error when Action = REMOVE: 0x80004005

Windows XP Pro

Defender detects WHENU.SAVENow adware,
i select to REMOVE, then I get:

Status: Failed, 0x80004005: Unspecified Error

Looking back in the HISTORY, Defender successfully removed other adwares.
But, again, for the same AdWare I see the same error.

It seems to be only when trying to remove this WhenU.SaveNow adware.

This error is still unresolved but its well-known.

Do a search for 'WhenU' - you will get many posts with suggestions.
Apparently, the error message is not user friendly and may have something to
do with the Adware file being inaccessible.
Will be able to tell when I get home later.

I get this error when it tried to delete all the time, some of them will be a
sucess but the rest fail. I tired many things like msconfig, and then running
the scan but nothing seems to be helping
