Hi Peggy. BCCode1 0000050 and Stop Error 0x00000050 refer to the
same thing which is called a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
One very common cause of this specific error is defective RAM, as
described at
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms793437.aspx
"Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty
hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually
related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video
RAM).
Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service.
Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted
NTFS volume."
Download one of the following free memory testing utilities and run it
for an extended period (e.g. overnight) to check for possible defects
in the RAM.
DocMemory

Windows Memory Diagnostic
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
Memtest86:
http://www.memtest.org
If the RAM passes the diagnostic test then post a response back here
and we will proceed to check into other possible causes.
If the error occurs again please keep track of the details of each
error message, including all 4 of the parameter codes. If these
parameters are the same each time then that would indicate that a
service or device driver was likely at fault whereas if the parameters
change each time then that means that it is something else.
Good luck
