Error Ox8004210A "time out" on receiving Hotmail to Outlook 2003

Outlook 2003
Outlook Connector
Live Hotmail

When uploading/receiving messages from my Hotmail account, I get the
following error message:
" Task 'pop3.live.com Receiving" reported error (Ox8004210A). The operation
timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. Contact
your ISP etc etc "
Can anyone help on this, or offer a solution?
